Participation and Risk Assumption
- By registering for and participating in this event, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any discomfort, illness, injury, or accident that may occur while preparing for, during, or after the event—including while on the event premises or traveling to and from the event. You understand that participation in this event may involve hazards and should only be undertaken if you are medically fit and properly trained. If you have any doubts about your ability to participate safely, please consult your doctor before taking part. It is your responsibility to ensure that you remain medically and physically fit for all activities related to the event.
- Please be aware that the event may take place on public roads and facilities where hazards are naturally present.
- By participating, you also acknowledge that the event carries inherent risks ranging from minor discomfort to severe injuries, permanent disability, or even death. These risks include, but are not limited to, those associated with falls, obstacles, collisions with other participants, the actions or omissions of others, weather conditions, traffic, and route characteristics. In consideration of your participation, you, on behalf of yourself, your heirs, and your executors, hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Future Sports Events LTD, its event marshals, sponsors, promoters, and all of their agents, representatives, successors, and assigns, as well as any other persons connected with the event, from any liability, claims, actions, or damages arising out of or connected with your participation—even if such claims are based on negligence or any other cause.
Anti-Doping Statement (Running Events)
- By entering this event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules. You further agree to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping for the application and enforcement of these rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to all participants in athletics events for 12 months following the date of the event, regardless of your citizenship or residency.
Safeguarding Terms and Conditions
- Ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for athletes, spectators, volunteers, and event staff is paramount. By hosting our events in collaboration with the relevant National Governing Bodies, we confirm that appropriate safeguarding and welfare precautions are in place and that our events comply with the applicable Competition Rules. In cases where events are not facilitated through National Governing Bodies, comprehensive risk assessments are conducted to ensure all welfare precautions are fully considered.
Event Photography Terms and Conditions
- By participating in this event, you irrevocably grant Future Sports Events LTD (the Event Organiser) permission to record your voice and capture your image via photographs and video recordings in connection with the event.
- Please note that our events take place in public spaces and on highways. As a result, media agencies or members of the public may also capture images or video recordings (including of you) during the event-activities over which Future Sports Events LTD has no control. Should you have concerns regarding such third-party recordings, you will need to address these directly with the respective parties.
- For clarity, the term “photograph” as used herein includes both still images and video recordings. You further grant Future Sports Events LTD the right to use your photograph, voice, and likeness—as captured during the event—in any form or medium now known or later developed (including streaming audio/video, broadcast, cable, satellite transmissions, etc.), worldwide and for any legitimate purpose, including commercial purposes, without any compensation to you. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any such recordings or photographs, which shall become the sole property of Future Sports Events LTD
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
- A cooling-off period of 48 hours applies to all bookings. If you withdraw within 48 hours of your booking, you are eligible for a full refund—subject to the deduction of a £10 administration fee and any applicable service fees.
- If you purchased insurance when buying your ticket, please refer to your confirmation email for specific instructions. You will need to work directly with the insurance provider to process any claims.
- For those without insurance who wish to withdraw after the cooling-off period, the following option is available:
Option 1: Transfer Your Registration to Another Competitor

Standard Transfers:
You may transfer or sell your place to another person wishing to participate in the event. If you initiate this transfer at least one calendar month before the event, it can be processed free of charge via your Future Sports Events LTD account (details of which are provided in your entry confirmation email). -
Late Transfers:
If there are fewer than 30 days remaining before the event, transfers must be completed in person at the event registration desk and will incur a £10 administration fee. Only the new participant is required to attend registration to finalize the transfer
- Please ensure that all transfers are completed through the proper channels so that Future Sports Events LTD maintains accurate participant records, including emergency contact details. Do not transfer your bib number informally.Running on another athlete’s bib without an official transfer is against National Governing Body (NGB) rules and will result in disqualification.
CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS POLICY
Cancellation
- If an event is cancelled or postponed, your registration will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled date. We will provide you with at least 24 hours’ notice of any amendments or cancellations where possible. In cases where a reasonable alternative has been offered, no refunds will be provided if the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, Acts of God, or other Force Majeure events.
Route Amendment
- Future Sports Events LTD is committed to hosting safe and high-quality events. We reserve the right to modify the event course for safety and quality reasons. For instance, in our triathlon events, this may involve switching the format to a duathlon or aquathlon. Additionally, for all events, changes may include modifications to the start time, route(s), and/or cut-off times.
